This afternoon I am waitingvto pick Anna up from school.. I am just thinking about how grateful I am to have a job that lets me leave whenever I need to. I am also thinking about Anna now. I find myself always thinking about her. She is growing up WAY too fast. She is so smart and funny. She gets that from both me and Johnny. Before I know it, she will be in high school. But I don't want to rush it. Lets just stay where we are right now!

I cannot be with you.
Every minute of every day.
I trust someone will protect you.
So, who will protect our babies today..
I hear of things.
That crush me day by day.
Of uncaring and heartless ways.
So, who will protect our babies today..
Maybe one day we all could be.
As lucky as you and me.
For I have a beautiful miracle.
And she is all I see.
She is the most precious gift.
I’m blessed with her everyday.
To hold her in my arms.
I hope and I pray, I can protect her today.
